showing up for the start of classes freshman year after two weeks of "two-a-day" football practices ( which occurred, by the way , on the back end of the school property next to the smelly mink farms). Coaches told us that we would be easily identified as a team, and we had a leg up on all the other incoming freshman with regards to "identity". We were easily identified as it turns out, not for the reasons cited by the coaches, but for the raised acres of acne across all of our foreheads where the shitty football helmets acted as cheese graters on any exposed skin. Slightly embarrassing for a 14 year old.
